Bello Bay Cruise is one of the splashiest rides at Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, and from our visits, it feels like one of the most popular attractions in the park for good reason. Located inside Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, this raft-style water ride drops families right into the middle of the Yellow Minions versus Purple Minions chaos.

And yes, you should expect to get wet. Not “a cute little splash on your shoes” wet. More like “why did we not pack backup clothes?” wet.

The ride combines river-rafting-style movement, surprise splashes, and water blasters from above, where other guests can spray your boat as you pass by. It is silly, chaotic, and honestly so stinking funny. The height requirement for Bello Bay Cruise is 40 inches. Children under 48 inches must ride with a Supervising Companion, so this is not one of the no-height-requirement attractions for smaller preschoolers. But for kids who are tall enough and comfortable with water, this is a huge win, especially on a hot Texas day.

The biggest thing to know before riding is that Bello Bay Cruise is not just a gentle little boat ride. It is a soaking ride. If your child hates water in their face, gets cold easily, or melts down when clothes stay wet, plan ahead with quick-dry clothes, sandals, or a backup outfit.
