Peppa Pig’s First Halloween Party Is Coming to DFW: A Sweet Side Quest for Younger Universal Kids Resort Families

Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas Fort Worth is rolling out its first Halloween celebration this fall, and it looks very much like what parents of little kids hope for, colorful, friendly, and not scary. If your Universal Kids Resort trip already revolves around toddlers, preschoolers, or one very committed Peppa fan, this is the kind of easy North Texas side stop that can add some seasonal fun without eating up a whole park day.

Universal Kids Resort

Planning a Universal Kids Resort trip with toddlers or preschoolers? Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas Fort Worth is adding its first Halloween celebration this fall, making it an easy seasonal Side Quest for families with younger kids.

If your Universal Kids Resort trip includes a child who still lights up at the sight of Peppa and George, there is another North Texas theme park worth knowing about.

PEPPA PIG Theme Park Dallas Fort Worth, located in North Richland Hills, is celebrating Halloween this fall with Peppa and George in costume, seasonal entertainment, Halloween activities and special experiences designed specifically for little kids.

The event runs October 1 through November 1, 2026, during regular park hours.

For Universal Kids Resort families, we would look at this less as another full theme park day and more as a half day Side Quest, especially if you are traveling with toddlers, preschoolers or a serious Peppa Pig fan.

And that age distinction matters. Peppa Pig Theme Park is much smaller than Universal Kids Resort and is designed almost entirely around younger children. Families with older kids may find themselves ready to move on fairly quickly.

What Is Peppa’s Halloween Party?

Peppa’s Halloween Party is the first Halloween celebration at the Dallas Fort Worth Peppa Pig Theme Park.

The event adds seasonal entertainment and Halloween touches to the park’s regular preschool friendly rides, playgrounds and character experiences.

Families can expect Peppa and George dressed for Halloween, seasonal décor, entertainment and other kid friendly activities throughout the event.

The important thing for parents to know is that this is not a scary Halloween event.

There are no haunted houses or scare zones to worry about. The entire experience is designed around the same young audience as the park itself, making this a particularly easy option for families whose children like Halloween but are nowhere near ready for the bigger nighttime events.

Why We Think This Works as a Universal Kids Resort Side Quest

Universal Kids Resort and Peppa Pig Theme Park are not identical, but they appeal to some of the same families.

If you are visiting Universal Kids Resort with a toddler or preschooler and building a longer North Texas trip around it, Peppa Pig Theme Park gives you another attraction where your youngest child can actually participate instead of spending half the day watching taller siblings ride.

That is probably the biggest reason we would consider adding it to an itinerary.

However, Universal Kids Resort has substantially more variety for mixed age families and older children.

Peppa Pig Theme Park is much more narrowly focused on little kids. That can be wonderful if that is exactly the stage your family is in, but it is worth understanding before you buy tickets.

What Ages Is Peppa Pig Theme Park Best For?

We would primarily recommend Peppa Pig Theme Park for kids six and under, with toddlers and preschoolers firmly in the sweet spot.

Peppa fans will obviously get even more out of the experience.

Older siblings may enjoy a few rides, characters and Halloween activities, but children who are already used to bigger theme parks and thrill rides will likely run out of things that interest them fairly quickly.

Based on our own experience taking kids to the park, we would not choose Peppa Pig Theme Park as the main attraction for a family made up entirely of older elementary age children.

For a family with a three year old and a five year old, though? That is a very different story.

What Kind of Rides Does Peppa Pig Theme Park Have?

The rides here are intentionally gentle and designed to let younger children participate.

The park currently has five primary rides, including Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure, Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride and Mr. Bull’s High Striker.

Height requirements are correspondingly low.

Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster and Mr. Bull’s High Striker require riders to be at least 36 inches tall, while Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure has a 34 inch minimum. Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride and Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride have no minimum height requirement, although smaller children must ride with a responsible rider who meets the accompanying requirements.

That makes this one of the easier theme parks to navigate with toddlers.

There are also numerous attractions with no height restriction at all, including Muddy Puddles Splash Pad, Peppa Pig’s Treehouse, George’s Fort, Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground, Pirate Island Sand Play, Grandpa Pig’s Greenhouse, the Cinema and Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena.

For parents used to dividing the family every time they reach a ride entrance, that can be a nice change.

How Does Peppa Pig Theme Park Compare With Universal Kids Resort?

This is where we would set expectations carefully.

Peppa Pig Theme Park is smaller and aimed younger.

Universal Kids Resort offers a broader mix of rides, shows, play areas, characters and food, with more to keep older elementary kids interested.

Peppa Pig Theme Park is much more concentrated around toddlers and preschoolers.

That means we would choose between them this way:

Families with toddlers and preschoolers: Peppa can be a great additional stop.

Families with children across several age groups: Universal Kids Resort will generally have more for everyone.

Families with mostly older elementary kids: We would probably skip Peppa unless someone is a major fan.

You do not necessarily have to choose one or the other, either. For families traveling into North Texas for several days, the two can work nicely together because they serve slightly different purposes.

Is Peppa Pig Theme Park an All Day Park?

For most families, we would plan this as a half day attraction.

That is actually one of the reasons it can work so well as a Side Quest.

You are not committing another entire vacation day to a huge park.

The park is compact, the attractions are close together and families can move through the rides and play areas relatively easily.

If your child wants to repeat rides, spend a long time in the playgrounds or splash pad, watch shows and meet characters, you can certainly stay longer.

But we would not automatically block out an entire day unless you know your child is going to want to linger.

Is Peppa’s Halloween Party Scary?

No.

And for the families this park serves, that is a feature rather than a drawback.

This is Halloween at preschool level, with costumes, characters and seasonal fun rather than scares.

If your four year old loves pumpkins but thinks a skeleton decoration at Target is pushing it, Peppa’s Halloween Party is probably more their speed.

When Is Peppa’s Halloween Party?

Peppa’s Halloween Party runs:

October 1 through November 1, 2026

Park hours vary by date, so families should check the official operating calendar before visiting.

Because this is a seasonal event and operating schedules can change, we also recommend checking the park’s official website shortly before your trip rather than relying on an older screenshot or social post.

Where Is Peppa Pig Theme Park Dallas Fort Worth?

PEPPA PIG Theme Park Dallas Fort Worth is located in North Richland Hills, between Dallas and Fort Worth.

For families staying near Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, this is not an attraction we would treat as something right around the corner. It makes more sense as a planned Side Quest, particularly if you are already exploring other parts of the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Our Take: Should Universal Kids Resort Families Add It?

For the right family, yes.

If you are bringing a Peppa loving toddler, preschooler or child around age six and under to North Texas, Peppa Pig Theme Park can be a fun way to add another kid focused experience to your trip.

The Halloween celebration makes an October visit particularly appealing because you are getting the regular park plus seasonal activities without turning the experience into something scary or overwhelming for younger kids.

We would just keep expectations realistic.

This is a small theme park designed around very young children, not a second Universal Kids Resort.

Families with older siblings may want to pair it with another activity or treat it as a half day stop. Families traveling primarily with preschoolers may find that the smaller scale is exactly what makes it work.

For a four year old who loves Peppa, gentle rides and Halloween?

That is a pretty solid Side Quest.
