Echo Lake is the small central pocket of Disney’s Hollywood Studios where Star Tours, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!, and a few easy food stops sit close together. For a lot of families, it works best as a flexible middle-of-the-day zone rather than a land you build the whole day around.

If Star Tours is on your list, Echo Lake is an obvious stop. It is also a handy area when your group wants a break from long walks and high-intensity headliners for a bit. The shows can give everyone a chance to sit down, cool off, and reset, and the quick-service dining nearby can make this a practical place to handle lunch without straying far from your next attraction.

The tradeoff is that Echo Lake usually feels more like a useful piece of your Hollywood Studios route than a destination on its own. Most families spend time here between bigger priorities elsewhere in the park, so it helps most when you are pairing a ride, a show, and a meal in one stretch instead of crossing the park multiple times.
