Last verified with Universal’s official parking information: July 21, 2026
Parking at Universal Kids Resort is fairly straightforward once you understand one important detail: theme park parking and hotel parking are completely separate.
The entrance and parking area you use will depend on whether you are visiting the theme park, staying at the Universal Kids Resort Hotel, visiting someone at the hotel or arriving by rideshare.
Families will also need to decide between Regular and Premium Parking, know which lane to use if they have an NTTA TollTag, and understand how parking works if it is included with their Universal Kids Resort Annual Pass.
Here is what families need to know about Universal Kids Resort parking prices, Premium Parking, TollTag lanes, Annual Passholder parking, hotel parking and same day reentry.
Parking prices and procedures can change, so we recommend checking Universal’s official Parking and Directions page shortly before your visit.
Universal Kids Resort Parking Address

Families visiting the theme park should use the main guest parking entrance:
1 Universal Parkway
Frisco, TX 75033
This is the address for the Universal Kids Resort theme park parking lot and main guest entrance.
Guests staying at or visiting the Universal Kids Resort Hotel should not enter through the theme park parking toll booths. Hotel parking uses a separate entrance and parking area.
Follow the signs marked Universal Kids Resort Hotel Parking when you arrive.
You can find additional hotel information in our Universal Kids Resort Hotel family guide.
Universal Kids Resort Parking Prices
Universal Kids Resort offers Regular Parking, Premium Parking and parking for RVs and buses.
| Parking Option | Current Price |
|---|---|
| Regular Parking | $20 plus tax |
| Premium Parking | $30 plus tax |
| RV or Bus Parking | $30 plus tax |
Parking prices are per vehicle. Universal states that prices are seasonal, may vary by day and are subject to availability.
Universal Kids Resort is also a cashless destination. Cash and checks are not accepted at the parking toll booths.
Regular Parking
Regular Parking currently costs:
$20 plus tax per vehicle
Regular Parking cannot be purchased online in advance. It must be purchased when you arrive.
Guests may pay for Regular Parking using:
- A valid credit card
- A valid debit card
- An eligible NTTA TollTag
Guests without an NTTA TollTag should enter through the standard parking lanes and pay with a credit or debit card.
Premium Parking
Premium Parking currently costs:
$30 plus tax per vehicle
Premium Parking places guests closer to the theme park entrance.
Because Universal Kids Resort does not offer parking trams, the shorter walk may be helpful for families visiting with younger children, grandparents or anyone who expects tired legs at the end of the day.
Premium Parking may be purchased in advance through the Universal Kids Resort website until midnight before your arrival date, subject to availability.
Premium Parking may also be purchased at the parking toll booth when you arrive if spaces are still available.
An NTTA TollTag cannot be used to purchase Premium Parking.
For only $10 more than Regular Parking, Premium Parking may be worth considering on extremely hot days or when visiting with younger children. However, not every family needs it. If your group is comfortable with a slightly longer walk, Regular Parking should work just fine.
RV and Bus Parking
Parking for RVs and buses currently costs:
$30 plus tax per vehicle
Drivers should follow the signs and instructions from Universal parking attendants when they arrive.
The NTTA TollTag payment option cannot be used for RV or bus parking.
Universal Kids Resort Is Cashless
Universal Kids Resort is a cashless destination, including all theme park and hotel parking areas.
Cash and checks are not accepted at parking toll booths.
Guests may pay using a valid credit card or debit card. An eligible NTTA TollTag may also be used for Regular Parking.
Keep your payment method somewhere easy to reach before approaching the toll booth. Nobody wants to search through snack wrappers, water bottles and the bottom of the park bag while a line of cars waits behind them.
Using an NTTA TollTag for Universal Kids Resort Parking
Guests with an existing North Texas Tollway Authority TollTag may use it to pay for Regular Parking at Universal Kids Resort.
Follow signs to the designated TollTag lanes as you approach the theme park parking toll plaza.
TollTag payment is available for Regular Parking only.
It cannot be used for:
- Premium Parking
- RV parking
- Bus parking
- Universal Kids Resort Hotel parking
Universal states that the TollTag account must be connected to a valid credit or debit card.
A TollTag is convenient, but it is not required. Guests without one may use the standard parking lanes and pay with a credit or debit card when they arrive.
For families who already live in North Texas and regularly use a TollTag, this can make entering the parking lot a little easier. We would not open a TollTag account solely for one Universal Kids Resort visit unless it also makes sense for your regular driving.
Leaving and Reentering the Parking Lot
Universal Kids Resort permits same day parking reentry during scheduled operating hours.
If you paid at a standard parking toll booth, keep your receipt and present it to the parking attendant when you return.
Guests who paid for Regular Parking with an NTTA TollTag should return through the designated TollTag lane.
Premium Parking is subject to availability. Guests who leave the property are not guaranteed another Premium Parking space when they return.
Same day reentry can be helpful for families staying nearby who want to take a midday break and return during the cooler evening hours.
Universal Kids Resort Annual Passholder Parking
Universal Kids Resort offers two Silver Annual Pass options, and only one includes parking.
Families can compare the current options, benefits and blockout dates on Universal’s official Annual Pass page.
Silver Annual Pass
The standard Silver Annual Pass does not include parking.
Guests with this pass must purchase parking separately or use another independently available parking program according to that program’s terms.
Silver Annual Pass With Parking
The Silver Annual Pass with Parking includes Regular self parking at the Universal Kids Resort theme park on eligible visit dates.
The parking benefit does not include:
- Premium Parking
- RV or bus parking
- Universal Kids Resort Hotel parking
- Parking on Annual Pass blockout dates
- EV parking, if an EV parking product is offered in the future
Parking benefits and blockout dates are determined on a calendar year basis and may change.
Which Parking Lane Should Passholders Use?
Universal’s current passholder arrival instructions state:
Annual Passholders with parking included in their pass should use Lanes 1 and 2 for entry on valid visit days.
Lane assignments can change, so always follow the current signs and instructions from Universal Team Members when you arrive.
Important TollTag Note for Annual Passholders
Passholders with parking included should use the designated Annual Pass parking lanes.
Universal states that parking obtained through electronic toll passes or other independent parking programs is not exchanged for or credited toward the Annual Pass parking benefit.
In plain English, do not drive through a TollTag payment lane and assume Universal will automatically recognize that your Annual Pass includes parking.
Use the Annual Pass lane and have your pass ready.
Universal Kids Resort Hotel Parking
Universal Kids Resort Hotel parking is completely separate from the theme park parking lot.
Guests staying at or visiting the hotel should follow signs for Universal Kids Resort Hotel Parking rather than entering through the theme park parking toll booths.
The hotel parking lot cannot be accessed through the regular theme park parking entrance.
What Overnight Hotel Guests Should Do When They Arrive

Based on our team’s stays at the Universal Kids Resort Hotel, overnight guests should first follow the signs to the hotel entrance and pull into the hotel arrival area.
During our visits, we checked in at the hotel before moving our vehicle into the overnight guest parking area. The hotel then provided the information we needed for parking, and our hotel key card was used for in and out access.
We have followed this arrival process more than once.
Hotel procedures can always change, so guests should follow the posted signs and instructions from hotel Team Members when they arrive. However, families should be prepared to stop at the hotel entrance and complete the check in process before moving their vehicle into the overnight parking area.
Overnight Hotel Guest Parking
Self parking for registered overnight hotel guests currently costs:
$20 plus tax per night, per vehicle
Hotel guests receive in and out parking access using their hotel key card.
Valet parking is not available.
Because the hotel parking area is separate from the theme park lot, overnight guests should not enter through the regular theme park parking toll booths.

Hotel Day Guest Parking
Guests visiting the Universal Kids Resort Hotel without an overnight reservation pay based on how long their vehicle remains in the hotel parking area.
| Length of Hotel Visit | Current Price |
|---|---|
| 0 to 1 hour | $10 plus tax |
| 1 to 2 hours | $20 plus tax |
| 2 to 3 hours | $35 plus tax |
| More than 3 hours | $50 plus tax |
Hotel day guest parking can become expensive quickly. Once a visit exceeds three hours, the listed parking rate becomes $50 plus tax.
Families visiting only the theme park should use the regular theme park parking lot. The hotel parking area is intended for registered overnight guests and people visiting the hotel.
Universal Kids Resort Hotel is cashless, and valet parking is not available.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available for guests with a valid handicap placard or license plate.
The placard or license plate must be properly displayed at all times.
Accessible parking spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis, and the Regular Parking fee applies.
Parking attendants will be available to help manage traffic and direct guests to an available parking space.
Parking Trams and Internal Transportation
Universal Kids Resort does not offer parking trams or other internal transportation within its parking areas.
Families should expect to walk from their parking space to the theme park entrance.
This is worth considering when visiting with babies, toddlers or younger children. Even a child who normally walks well may appreciate a stroller after a full day of rides, splash areas, character meetings and Texas heat.
You can find more park planning help in our complete Universal Kids Resort family guide.
Rideshare Pickup and Drop Off

Uber, Lyft and other rideshare services may enter through the Universal Kids Resort theme park parking entrance.
Drivers should follow the directional signs to the designated rideshare pickup and drop off lane.
Using the official rideshare area will make it easier and safer for families and drivers to find one another, especially when the park closes and several groups are requesting rides at the same time.
Universal Kids Resort Parking Discounts
Universal Kids Resort currently states that parking discounts do not apply to any of its parking products.
This includes resident, military and other special offers.
A discounted theme park ticket or promotional offer does not necessarily include discounted parking, so families should budget for the full parking rate unless their Annual Pass specifically includes Regular Parking.
EV Charging
EV charging stations are not currently available at either the Universal Kids Resort theme park or the Universal Kids Resort Hotel.
Families driving an electric vehicle should plan to charge elsewhere in Frisco before or after their visit.
Valet Parking
Valet parking is not currently available at the Universal Kids Resort theme park or hotel.
Overnight Theme Park Parking
Overnight parking is not permitted in the Universal Kids Resort theme park parking lot.
Vehicles left overnight may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Registered hotel guests should use the separate Universal Kids Resort Hotel parking area.
Universal Kids Resort Parking Tips for Families

Save the Correct Parking Address
Theme park guests should use:
1 Universal Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033
Hotel guests should follow signs for the separate Universal Kids Resort Hotel entrance and parking area.
Decide About Premium Parking Before Your Trip
Premium Parking may be purchased online until midnight before your arrival date, subject to availability.
Regular Parking cannot be purchased in advance.
Use the Correct Passholder Lane
Annual Passholders with parking included should currently use Annual Pass lanes 1 and 2 on eligible visit days.
Do not use the TollTag payment lane and assume the charge will be credited back.
Keep Your Parking Receipt
You will need your receipt for same day reentry if you paid at a standard parking booth.
Prepare for the Walk
There are no parking trams.
Bring the stroller, wheelchair or mobility equipment your family may need at both the beginning and end of the day.
Photograph Your Parking Location
Take a quick photo of your row or nearby parking marker before walking away from your vehicle.
This tiny habit can save a surprising amount of wandering after a long park day.
Check the Weather Before Choosing Parking
The difference between Regular and Premium Parking may feel more significant during the hottest part of a North Texas summer.
Check the forecast before deciding whether the shorter Premium Parking walk is worth the additional cost for your family.
Follow Hotel Arrival Signs Carefully
Hotel guests should not enter through the theme park parking toll booths.
Follow the Universal Kids Resort Hotel signs and be prepared to stop at the hotel entrance before moving into the overnight parking area.
Confirm Information Before Leaving Home
Universal Kids Resort is still a newer destination, and parking prices, lane assignments and procedures may change.
Review Universal’s official Parking and Directions page shortly before your visit.
Our Final Takeaway
The most important thing to understand about Universal Kids Resort parking is that theme park parking and hotel parking are separate.
Theme park visitors should use 1 Universal Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033.
Hotel guests should follow the signs for the dedicated Universal Kids Resort Hotel entrance. Based on our team’s stays, overnight guests should stop at the hotel arrival area and check in before moving their vehicle into the overnight guest parking lot.
Regular Parking currently costs $20 plus tax, Premium Parking costs $30 plus tax and RV or bus parking costs $30 plus tax.
Guests with an eligible NTTA TollTag may use it for Regular Parking. Annual Passholders with included parking should use the designated Annual Pass lanes rather than the TollTag payment lanes.
There are no parking trams, EV charging stations or valet parking. Universal Kids Resort is also completely cashless, including its parking toll booths.
Parking will probably never be the most exciting part of your Universal Kids Resort day, but choosing the correct entrance and payment lane can keep it from becoming the most memorable part for all the wrong reasons.
